Of course they recommend their "Tie Coat" primer which can be painted on after the POR-15 is dry. On my truck I POR-15 the frame then went over it with undercoating. No problems since and the was 7 years ago.POR15 is both hard but sanding and grinding on it, it becomes soft from the heat. I don't recommend more then one coat. POR15 recommends 2 but then it becomes more like undercoating. There is no UV protection so it needs to be top coated. If it's not possible to shoot the finish coat before the por-15 dries completely, then you either have to scuff the por-15 or apply their Tie-Coat primer before finish coating.
